The series broke records for the network, becoming the best performing freshman series ever, with an average of 3.2M P2+ viewers. (New York, NY) In season one of BREAKING AMISH, TLC introduced viewers to five young men and women who chose to leave their sheltered Amish and Mennonite lives to experience New York City together for the first time. Here’s the official press release about Breaking Amish: Brave New World as well as Breaking Amish Season 2 featuring three new women and four new men “eager to live a life beyond the limited upbringings they’ve known.” (I’ll toss in the rest of the Jeremiah photos for fun.)

Either way, it appears as though Jeremiah has moved on from Sabrina. Oddly, all of the rest of the photos feature Jeremiah, most of which include what appear to be his girlfriend! Or I suppose that could be his ex-wife and mother of his three children, Naomi Stutzman - she was living in Florida the last time we heard from her. Could it be that the cast traveled down to Florida together? Now that’s a road trip that I’m sure would make for some great television! (I’m imagining a scene where Kate returns from a convenience store to find Sabrina has moved out of their seat amid allegations Kate had been flip camming her while she slept.) Next we have the gang at South of the Border located just of Interstate 95 just south of the North Carolina/South Carolina state line. The network released a trailer for the show a couple weeks ago and now we have the first official photos!Ībove we see the entire cast huddled around the camera, including a blonde Sabrina. Should these "rebellious" Amish/Mennonite members decide to forgo Western luxuries and return to their previous lifestyles, they risk the probability of being shunned by their community altogether - including the family, friends and life they once knew so well.This Sunday the five stars of TLC’s breakout reality hit Breaking Amish share the next chapter of their lives as Katie Stoltzfus, Jeremiah Raber, Sabrina High, Abe Schmucker, and Rebecca Byler head down to Florida for Breaking Amish: Brave New World. Breaking Amish will unveil the disenchantment of family members who are forced to shun their own children, siblings and grandchildren as they decide to explore a world beyond the limitations of their simple upbringing. The decision to pack up their bags and leave town does not come without a hefty price.
But after these new experiences and the opportunity to live out dreams take flight, will they take advantage of New York and carry out their newfound lives while leaving behind the Amish/Mennonite community and their families forever? Unlike Rumspringa, these young men and women get serious about the possibility of committing to careers, lives and options for living indefinitely on the outside. From flying in a plane and wearing jeans, to using a cell phone and electricity, the show will highlight their transition into city culture and the basic amenities that come with it.
